Filiation

According to Árni Magnússon this manuscript is a copy of Eiðagás, a parchment manuscript in quarto which perished during the Copenhagen fire of 1728.

This is the reason the text deviate from the text in AM 178 fol., a copy of Bræðratungubók which presumably also got destroyed in the Copenhagen fire.
